if today is the first day of school for you I wish you great success with your studies

Katuahnet school districts which border southwestern Virginia and eastern West Virginia should be advised that snow is likely today and tomorrow. in the interest of limiting the risk of death and injury resulting from this weather please try avoid the use of motor vehicles in this realm for the next few days, unless your field of study makes this impossible.

and as always, in the interest of minimizing brain damage and other harm to your children and the children of others, please do what you can to ensure that the United States public school system becomes accountable to the true needs of the residents of the communities it ostensibly serves. please notice the phrasing "do what you can", since this is a pretty monstrous goal.

if your family lacks the resources and time right now to do anything other than giving your young ones an un-public education, then by all means, do that, and know that you are actually contributing a lot toward accountability on the part of the United States public education system.

if you think that your family lacks the resources and patience to participate in an un-public schooling experience for your young ones, please think again, and seek out the resources that have been prepared in the Katuahnet for folks just like you.

I need to go get ready for the snow now but I wish you well and hope that this will be the first day of a very beautiful and blessed year for you and all your dear ones.
