Dear “Name Not Given”,

Kindly blogger Nantoka said it was O.K. for me to use this page to attempt to contact you regarding my desperate situation. She says she has more ambient findability than she wants and I am welcome to all I can use.

My name is Santa. Not “Santa”…Actual Santa. And I am writing to you because I am in very hot waters with the wife, the bank, and the fan base. AKA Nantoka said you are a very creative person whose mind, once wrapped around my troubles, would likely find a solution where I can envision none whatsoever.

So, here are the hot waters I am in: I sort of took out a teeny tiny home equity loan on the North Pole lair. And it sort of blew up into a gigantic mess, thanks to inflation and property taxes and the rugrats wanting more stuff every year. Anyway, I am very afraid that once word gets out about how hopeless the situation has become with this blasted loan, Santa is going to be out of a home, a gig, a wife, a fan base and a positive reputation. And that is putting it mildly.

“Name Not Given”, if you can think of any way at all to help me I would appreciate it very much, even if it is an opportunity for me to wash dishes in your cafeteria or to hawk your arts factory products at crafts fairs. Please, “Name Not Given”, give me a chance and you will not be sorry. I promise to reach a reasonable weight and to stop acting as a mouthpiece for colonial values. I will give all my un-repossessed items of value to your favorite charitable cause. And I can even coach you if you want to play Father Kitty Christmas at the Ayuwa’sifest Christmas pageant! hello everyone, I hope you are having a beautiful day so far.

today will be a busy day for me, and not just because I am helping the renowned Secret Chef M. (of Snaque Shaque fame) prepare the table today. since today is a day of counting blessings I am unlikely to have a moment to spare in cataloging the ways in which it has rained Grace on me and my household over the course of my life. so, this will be a brief post but I promise to get back with you as soon as I can to keep you posted on all the "do-in's" of the Snaque Shaque, the Coldwater Museum, and the Ayuwa'si Holocaust Awareness Facility & Retreat Center.

if you are impatient for news about these places please try to be patient, and do not pester the folks who work in any of the realms mentioned above. they are doing there best to wire the Trail of No Tears for the big happy upcoming ceremony which shall remain nameless until further notice, so that no lending institutions can snarf up the creative works which are being created for this event.

impatient and hungry lending institutions are encouraged to WAIT YOUR EFFING TURN, as a VERY special menu item is being prepared for you, just 'cause your Aunti Nantoka loves you so very very very much. ha ha ha ha ow ow ow ow.

hi everyone. now I am ready to tell some lending industry adventure stories. I hope these will be useful to you. I hope you will find some good info within my stories which will help you accumulate a good credit rating within your credit rating framework of choice.*

now since this is a lending industry adventure story, you should have a hanky and a pen within easy reach. please, please, please do not keep a loaded gun within easy reach if you are currently shopping for seppuku options, no matter how casually. the rivers of misery in the tale I am about to tell could ooze into your brain and accidentally trigger a Shouseki gun law violation, to wit: the law in which persons shall not use a self-inflicted firearm wound to settle a debt with a credit card company.

so now that we have the rules of the storytelling parlor more or less laid out, here is how my tale begins: Muka-a-a-a-a-ashi mukashi, way back in the day of one forever ago, a little Someone walked into a lending institution and struck what she though was a fabulous deal with an associate there. this deal would enable food, ikigai farming tools, etc. to flow to the Someone's household on the basis of something called "credit", which was extended to the Someone on the basis of her having something called "income".

it is a lovely one on the shores of the reservoir here. the surface of the water looks nice, with no visible gasoline. great blue herons have been flying about in rather impressive numbers. and every day is Turkey Scratch!

I am working to establish a museum & library of Big Mountain culture in this near-paradise. if you wish to assist in this endeavor, there are many ways you can help. if you have access to United States currency and wish to buy a rug or painting to donate to the museum I highly recommend Gallery One Eleven.

yes, that's right folks, the cat is partially out of the bag. a huge Crying Helicopters wedding is going to be happening very very soon. if you have not already heard the news about this event, please be advised that it is bound to be an utterly amazing affair.

as you may or not know, the folks who are hosting this event are mega-wealthy in terms of what it takes to throw a proper wedding. so expect a massive guest list, with much flexibility in the inviting of extra guests. if you think you might be invited to this event, NOW is the time to start thinking about what outfits you are going to wear, what snacks and pals you are going to bring, and how you are going to contribute to the Monster Dowry that is being amassed as we speak.

now the sheer sumptuousness and size of this wedding makes it all the more important to treat the Definitely Un-Invited with a modicum of sympathy, while being mega-cautious not to wind up accidently allowing some delusional low-down coward and/or resource snarfer to infiltrate this incredibly important Shouseki family affair.

if you know someone who may wind up on the Un-Invited list, please be as kind as you can to them while the list drifts into public posession. please note that this does not mean holding their hand and so forth while they cry, since this can transmit Infiltrator Cooties. instead, educate the Un-Invited One in a caring, low-key way about the importance of not doing things like accepting money from the Federal Government of the United States to muddy a Nation's vision for a functional, harmonious, art-filled world.

Anna and the Magic "Bean" Stalk

Muka-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ashi mukashi, way back in the day of two or three forevers ago, there was a young aspiring ikigai farmhand who called herself Anna.

And this "Anna" got it in her mind that she was going to do her farmstead proud through a clever swap between her family and some outsiders. "Anna" was extremely young, and she believed that this deal would greatly benefit her family's takoja.

Many tears of rage and sadness fell in the wake of the deal that "Anna" finally brokered between her family and the outsiders. The tears kept flowing for days, then weeks, then months, until finally an entire year had passed.

And so our tale begins...

Mu-Kaaaaaaaa-shi Mukashi, way back in the day of one Forever ago, il y'avait une toute petite Nantoka qui s'appelait Antrolana-sama. Et kono Antrolan-sama wa ne. Ma ne. Yasashii hito desu yo. Yasashii ke do, every hito does have their breaking point.

Now this Antrolana-sama lived in the Umi, when Katuah was covered with one. Human visitors to this still-sacred realm can find rocks that are made out of the bodies of Antrolana-sama's ancestral neighbors in the Umi that used to cover Katuah. (An ocean still covers this realm, of course, but the ocean back then was one of actual water, and not just ikigai.)

Shellfish, sponges, and many other life forms shared Antrolana-sama's ancestral neighborhood in the sea. Then the seas of water receded, and the Antrolana people sought out the shelter they could and adapted to cooler, less salty conditions.

Along this timeline something called a Human came to share space with the Antrolana tribe in Katuah. I have no real way of relating the Antrolana People's take on this development but I believe the most polite among them could not resist getting a dig in about our squalid and somewhat sordid hygenic conditions. And who could fail to blame them in this critique? A quick glance at locally available Antrolana Lira recovery plans will yield plenty of proof of the Human tribe's careless disregard for the Antrolana Lira people's dependence on water which has not yet been sh*t-enriched.

Now some of you out there may be saying, what the Eff Auntie Nantoka. You said this was going to be a tale which featured a pretty truth. I do not want to hear about endangered species living in filth and squalor. I came shopping for happy stories because I do not want to think about how very swiftly the sh*t is going down, as they say, so please avoid that theme.

Now here is the beautiful twist on the sh*t theme, friend: the tale is a pretty one because the year is 2008, a year when numerous signs and texts point to an extremely beautiful Now in which the the sh*t STOPS going down for a change, and starts going straight into a specially designed fan which will enable "Crying Helicopters" brand competitors to envision a more creative use for the resources it appropriates from sacred households.

Surrender the math and I will not only give you more tales of this aesthetic and highly practical marketing vehicle, I will tell you myself how to drive the sucker straight into an Alliens concert, or to the Spring at Ayuwa'si, or to a Thanksgiving 2.0 meal at the Earthsong kitchen, without harming a soul.

I just tried a new hobo recipe to celebrate berry season: canned milk smoothie. sometimes my hobo recipes are very tasty but when I tried this one I ALMOST BARFED. I still am not sure I am not going to eventually barf even though I only tasted a tiny bit of it.

If you wish to know more about the Shouseki inheritance, please visit one of the library's installations in Floyd and Montgomery counties. After June 19, 2008 it is likely that the Montgomery County installation will be de-housed, except within private collections, since this has been determined to be an extremely high-risk area for the Shouseki collection.

Here is a link to a Roanoke Times article about the Smith Mountain hydropower project.

I need to go use the digital vomitoir right now, but please make sure you don't miss the part of the article which talks about AEP feeling that it is necessary to conceal the location of culturally relevant sites along the shorelines and inside the floodplain of this so-called lake.

Lakes are something that is made by God. In my mind, creating a hydropower dam, and crafting all the documentation and propaganda that goes along with it, often creates a body of water which falls into a somewhat different category: BEWITCHED.

In my mind, it is laughable that anyone would have the audacity to say that a once ecologically and culturally rich valley is a lake when in reality it is more like a sludgy soup of fecal coliform bacteria, gasoline, drowned farms and forests, and ACTUAL DEAD DUDES that have joined the ranks of the Smith Mountain "Lake" drowned & unfound.

Perhaps the Smith Mountain Hydropowers that be should consider the need for an added layer of dam security: One that will turn the Creator's wrath away from it.

Speaking of which it is time for me to tell a bit of nearly-unvarnished truth. If any digital devils want to listen in and use the info below to scoop resources, such as privacy, or coal, out of Brush Sama or any other region then they are warmly invited to think twice. When a man chased Lois in the dark of the night years ago as she was traveling to her home from work, Tony sought out and presented the would-be attacker the next day to his dear one. “You apologize to her, NOW,” Tony ordered the man as he held him up by the neck beside the car window of a very surprised Lois. Profuse apologies spewed forth, of course.

Although his brutal and senseless murder a few years ago sent enormous waves of demoralization through the Shouseki Band, Tony is currently a fully qualified member of the Shouseki ikigai farming team, since he so clearly is around and involved in the day-to-day care of Ms. Lois. The sudden appearance of an adorable, and adoring, pup to keep Lois company is seen by many members of the Shouseki Band as just one example of the fact that that Tony is making sure, just like he did when he was alive, that Lois is happy and well cared for.

So if you are going to take info on the valuable resources found on this mountain and twist it into some cog for a profit machine, please have fun when you meet my Uncle Tony. If he is busy doing something else that day I am certain that the Nunnehi will be more than happy to compensate for the dearth of information management services caused by his absence. Either way, you are likely to wind up looking like a cartoon of some crying termite who can neither read, nor eat, the Bible if you try any information management pranks on this sacred Mountain.

Aunti N is extremely crabby this A.M. as a result of recent judgments in Montgomery County, VA. so I am going to pretend this is not the case by immersing us both in a little hobo lore.

hobo lore item one is that the Black Twig Pickers are playing at the Cellar tonight. their new CD, "Hobo Handshake", is downright excellent, and I am not just saying that to spread hobo-friendly propaganda. the whole acoustical deal is cradled in the sounds of spring peepers of deep Katuah, so if you are homesick for this sort of sound I cannot recommend this album to you too emphatically.

this shows that the "Hobo Handshake" album has been given 10 out of a possible 10 mountains for excellence as a creative work.

now on with our hobo story.

muka-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a--ashi mukashi, way back in the day before Traces Library infrastructure had very much of an ability to shelter, feed and clothe the Lord's children, there was a little hobo named Nantoka, who hated shoes and lived in Montgomery County, Virginia.

Nantoka enjoyed reading, writing, and the sort of ambiance that can be found when visiting an independently managed coffeeshop or art gallery. a chance encounter with the Traces Library infrastructure long before the 4-16-07 shootings near Katuah led this Nantoka to seek out the author of a creative work to offer a kindly phrased critique of a work which was in progress at that time. the author was greatly encouraged by this gesture, but failed to commemorate this point of contact by stocking the Shouseki pantries.

now our story speeds forward to the present day, with the work in question still unfinished, both the author and the Nantoka very much alive and kicking, and a third party on the scene to clean up the mess that was left by the vector that went into place when the Traces infrastructure was so carelessly forgotten on that fateful day.

this story needs to be set aside for the moment so I can work on my farming chores but if you leave this page knowing nothing else please know this: if you live, or invest in, the mountains, hills, and valleys of Montgomery County, Virginia, don't be a fool and think that you are too big and important to need help from the Traces infrastructure and other non-governmental entities and organizations. (the less bloodthirsty you are, the more this applies. )

hope you are doing well. things here are fine. my computer programming career is not so stellar at the moment as the KILI birthday festivities collided with an important deadline in my software design class. so, I managed the best I could, and created a little reality in the computer in which an instance of a bat-unfriendly scenario is prevented, the Sacred Springs in Ayuwa'si are protected from harm, a magical book stops an aircraft operator from meeting his fiery doom, and the KILI radio is wished a very happy birthday. Somewhere in the Katuahnet there are some notes that would help a young learner duplicate the results I got with this reality building project.

I do not know of a free version of a VR software that is especially made to meet the VR modeling needs of permaculture buffs, but anyone who wishes to is welcome to modify the Happy Birthday Kili Radio card in order to make it a better tool for this application.

If someone wants to learn or apply the Alice program to a file modification which would embed a cache of top-notch granite carving tools within the landscape along with a treasure map in the Lakota language, Nantoka-sensei would be extremely happy with you and guarantees you an extra scoop of Legacy at the next Thanksgiving 2.0 meeting if you can bring verifiable proof of your efforts.

Just do me a favor if you will, if you run into my computer programming sensei: Give him a description of the digital dog that ate my homework at the last minute on 02-25-08.

hello, all: The Black Twig Pickers are back at the Floyd Country Store Friday, playing the 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. slot between the Underwood Family and the Clyde Williams band. Put those predictions of freezing rain aside and come out for some dancing. Cover is still one of the greatest bargains in the commonwealth: just $3 for 3 bands. You'd have to go to a punk matinee to beat that ratio, and frankly, I'm not certain the BBQ would be as good.

This Friday will be perhaps a bigger to-do than sometimes because a crate of the new Black Twigs CD, "Hobo Handshake," showed up earlier than expected, making this the first official cd release show.

We'll be having release shows for months, no doubt, but get in early and see what all the fuss is about, ahem.

We'll have more about the cd listed at www.blacktwigpickers.org very soon. Some highlights: First recordings released (besides the 30 or so cdrs passed around last spring) to feature Nathan's washboard; cover by local artist Sue Nees; a few friends & family join in on a few songs, including singer/guitarist extraordinaire Charlie Parr and Shawsville's own dulcimer champ and multi-instrumentalist Tim Thornton.

hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Brush sama had Kili Radio access last night, there was a very exciting broadcast about upcoming rides. here are the dates I remember. I took some notes and posted them somewhere, when I get time I will put them here.

Kili radio enthusiasts will be happy to know that the folks on the radio sounded like they were in very fine spirits, and not at all in the midst of being shot at in cold blood, which is always a fear of mine when Brush sama can't get the Kili radio signal.

No siege over there, as far as I could tell! Always a bonus.

I am getting some incredibly bizarre imaging anomalies happening here:

I am busy with nerd school today so don't have much time to do things like share bat art, provide a portion of accurate Porcupine + news, and tell you about the new art venues coming to the Katúahnet this spring; however, here is a smidgen of all the above.

this is a "bat pal" string which is intended to indicate two happy, un-molested and un-homeless bats who are friends, hunting pals, and/or roommates. (this string is good feng shui!)

above is a "Little Bat" string which is used to illustrate a story from the Tlameha people's Trail of No Tears.

This string is very handy for mapmakers looking to provide folks with data on some of the less visible aspects of certain realms. I did not have time to make the horde very big; this is just a truncated version.

I hope you will not hesitate to crib these strings for use in your own maps etc. or make your own fun strings! a new Katúahnet art project is happening soon to test Tlameha Superstring Theory, and your bat could be included!

now here is the deal with the Porcupine news. I cannot get access to KILI radio, the only source I know for reliable real-time news from Porcupine and the Wounded Knee area. it bothers me very much to not have the ability to know right away what is going on in that realm. However, I can tell you that a KILI Radio ride and walk are happening on Feb. 25. kiliradio.org has details.

perhaps you are also interested to know about the half-white doe living in Ayuwa'si. I saw her in early autumn of 2007 right after a visit to a sacred spring there. She looks like a large white & brown speckled goat from a distance. just one more reason to operate your vehicle at safe speeds when driving through that realm.

The Black Twig Pickers will be performing at the Cellar restaurant in Blacksburg on the evening of February 9. (Twig Picker fans should take note of the fact that March 18, 2008 will mark the date of the release of their newest album, entitled Hobo Handshake).

The Kusun Ensemble is now teaching African dance at the Winter Sun culture center in downtown Floyd. Details can be found at the Winter Sun website.

Folks who visit kizapark.com will find info on the 7th annual Lakota Hemp Days celebration, which will happen on September 20 this year. (Ayuwa'sifest 08 and the Katuahnet Banjo Harmonic Convergence are currently in the planning phases and will not conflict with this date so if you had hoped to attend all three events, this should be possible.)

Also on Leap Day of this year a free public reception will take place at 111 West Main Street in downtown Floyd to celebrate the opening of Gallery 111. I think I am going to be testing out some Trail of No Tears recipes there, as will be a very special event and I want to make sure the occasion is as auspicious as it possibly can be. Please take a look at the art & music news in ideapark to learn a bit more about February 29 festivities being planned at Gallery 111.

the Trail of No Tears can be used today find a link to ROAR, which I found this morning. I have one word to say to my new pals at ROAR: ROAR!!!!!

cultural desertification projects in former Katuah territories are continuing as we speak, with a site just a few miles from here having succumbed to legal gins-n-snares etc. HOWEVER. do not let this bump you off the Trail, especially if this development looks as though it will inflate your taxes and spoil your quality of life.

whenever you feel a fit of despair coming on in response to the Wal-Mart that is planning to move next to Beeks in Montgomery County, Virginia, just close your eyes and be silent and listen. listen very very carefully.

even if you are living in far-off in Egypt or New Jersey or Sacramento, California, tuning in carefully to the Katuahnet will allow you to hear, if you are careful enough, the sound of at least one mountain laughing at The Man. learn this cool listening trick and you will never be caught on the Trail without ikigai.

I found a neat book a year or so ago at the Green Star farm, this has to do with ghosts and fairies in the Celtic realm. these fairies are no joke yo. they are not going around sprinkling be-happy glitter in people's coffee and petting their unicorns, yo. the fairies described in this book are some bad mofos, water quality police that don't put you in jail, but instead swap your body with a shade or double to make your people think you are dead and gone so you can get tormented in the fairy realm. or, they will just beat the crap out of you.

they hate it, apparently, when foul water gets left around, and when kitchens are left dirty. in this respect they are a very useful entity to keep in mind because leaving your kitchen dirty is a terrible idea, especially if you observe Shouseki tabus, which say that you must leave your home, to the extent practical, in order which would fail to raise the eyebrow of a social worker who draws a paycheck from the United States tax base.

dirty dishes always get written up by social workers, yo. so take a tip from the fairies: sweep your kitchen, and don't ever keep funky water around, especially if it is located in a sink full of dirty dishes.

if you own no dishes, congratulations on keeping your dish cleaning situation in such tidy array!

things here are fine, the snow is ultra-lovely, and deep.

this is an excellent day for river sculpting in Katuah. if you have not tried this neat endeavor yet you really should, especially if you have access to snow. when I get a bit of time I will publish info about the best way to sculpt a miniature river of H20 and risk-mitigating ikigai.

A snowstorm here means ( presumptively) that no babies, or very few babies, are situated within federally maintained public school buildings in the Raleigh County, West Virginia school district.

I love this!!! I hope that the babies who make the choice to go to back to school once the roads are clear will spend time doing some river sculptures on their school playground.

and as always, in the interest of minimizing brain damage and other harm to your children and the children of others, please do what you can to ensure that the United States public school system becomes accountable to the true needs of the residents of the communities it ostensibly serves. please notice the phrasing "do what you can", since this is a pretty monstrous goal.

if your family lacks the resources and time right now to do anything other than giving your young ones an un-public education, then by all means, do that, and know that you are actually contributing a lot toward accountability on the part of the United States public education system.

however I was disturbed to find lots of violence in the headlines today. folks in the reading zone may be interested to know that a new school is opening locally to help make these kinds of headlines go away.

(not the "away" that headlines go to when censors decide they are inconvenient, but a much more tangible and meaningful and healing "away".)

the school is free and qualified scholars can get free school supplies. and if you think you might like to teach there, your living expenses may decrease dramatically.

I will let you know more about this school as time and circumstances permit, and invite you now to consider what you are going to do with the rest of your 12-31-07.

rumor has it that a famous celebrity has been lured into considering making a guest appearance at the Shouseki gala planned for this evening. I am not able to give you many details beyond that but hope you will plan on joining the gala, either in person or in spirit.

have you made friends yet with 12-30-07? I know I have!

the first cool thing that happened to me on 12-30-07 is that I had access to coffee. this routine yet extremely important event in my day was the first highlight in what is looking to be a substantial flurry of blessings. because guess what happened after that...I checked out the new Republic of Lakota website and saw that those folks just got a sweet new digital makeover.

I can't wait to find out what will be next on a day that is clearly as auspicious as today.

many thanks to the visitors that helped to make yesterday's exhibit opening such a success. the exhibit is ongoing and ambient so don't worry if you were not able to make it to yesterday's event. we will try to hang on to some astronaut food for you and give it to you for free, unless you provide the wrong answers to the Trail of No Tears jokes in which case you should expect to pay through the nose for it. (Sorry, Trail of No Tears rules!)

maybe some of you are wondering what you should do to celebrate the New Year. my opinion is that you should probably do something, even if you don't go anywhere, or turn on a TV, or hang out with friends, or get drunk. just because you don't feel like doing any of these things, or can't, or are smart enough not to, doesn't mean you should let such an important celebration opportunity go by this 12-31-07.

why not download some jokes from the Trail to serve at your New Year's party of one or more? these can be an awesome way to break the ice at any festivity...especially festivities that seem a bit crummy, or sparsely attended.

this coming year is the year of the Earth Rat, a fact I find hilarious, utterly fitting, and extremely inspiring. my plan for this 12-31-07 is to work on some homemade "Earth Rat" board games while enjoying the Russell Means & Friends Gig on Katuah National Radio. maybe the resources I need to realize this plan will materialize and maybe they won't but either way, I just know I am going to successfully party my socks off while bidding "sayonara" to Y2K + 7.

Now speaking of 12-19-07 I hope there is nobody out there panicking because they are suddenly afraid that their deed is not clearly held, and that the land they have purchased was initially obtained because squatters and/or murderers fulfilled their land rape goals long ago. Please, please, please do not freak out about this. Especially if the bank is the actual owner of this parcel.

There are simple ways you can take action to remedy the string of bad luck and ill that this sort of land "deal" engenders. To begin with, learn everything you can about the title to your homestead, and then once you know more about its history, start taking reparation measures. Perhaps this sounds mysterious and daunting but it is truly not such a difficult thing to do. I am working on some reparation strategies for homestead owners who wish to re-value the land in this way, and will publish them as time permits.

Now about the taking action thing. I know the world of real estate is rather intimidating to some and it involves visits to county offices but too much is at stake when your homestead is at risk to let your distaste for The Man get in the way of completing good research.

The last thing I want to do on a day like today is flaunt my realty credentials in front of the public but please listen to me for a moment: I sort of know what I am talking about when I say that State and Federal real estate laws do have embedded in them certain language which helps to protect folks from getting in a cloudy title situations.

Let's say "Tim" and "Betty" sign a contract to buy a quaint little house from a Realtor and some time later it turns out to contain title defects which the Realtor knew about, but did not disclose. Can "Tim" and "Betty" weasel out of their contract and get all their money back? "Tim" and "Betty" should really ask a judge that. The answer may surprise them.

What can "Tim" and "Betty" do if they are uninterested in the response of a judge, and just want to get all the bad ju-ju to flow AWAY from their home rather than TOWARD it? Again, the answer may surprise them. Especially if they have been observing the Shouseki tabus carefully. "Tim" and "Betty" should really follow up on this. Who knows? Perhaps there is some free frybread in it for them.

…The tree was doomed anyway, and was culled from underneath an AEP Power line on a Proudly Working farm on 250 acres smack in the middle of the urbanized wastelands that Big Coal has left in a certain unnamed region in the Virginias. It graces the home of a kindly and hospitable Brush Mountain family who have shown great kindness and mercy toward water empaths and others known to lurk in the Brush Mountain area. The image was taken just a day or so after Lakota Liberation Day 2007, and the dog in the picture just landed her dream job!

Beulah's Country Donuts

Once upon a time there was a box of donuts.

Not stupid store-bought donuts, mind you.
These were the Real Deal.

Made with love from the freshest possible ingredients.
A sweet little elder lady named Beulah had fixed them up
especially to share with others.

An optimist walked by the donuts and said,
Oh! Donuts! How lovely! How thoughtful!
And took a donut.

Then another optimist walked by the donuts and said,
Oh! Donuts! How wonderful! How lovely! Beulah is such a sweetheart.
However, I am allergic to donuts. No donut for me is better,
but that just leaves more for others.

Then a pessimist walked by the donuts and said,
Isn’t that just typical. People make these stupid donuts

Then he took three donuts.

Then a self-described optimist walked by the box of donuts.

When he was done doing that, he put on his handsomest bow tie, and went and found Beulah’s house.
